The Grape Day Festival and Parade has deep roots in Escondido. Taking place each year on the Saturday after Labor Day, Grape Day is a free community celebration of our community's heritage. The festival begins at 9.30am and runs until 5pm in Grape Day Park (321 N. Broadway). The short, whimsical parade on Grand Avenue begins at Escondido Blvd at 9.30am and marches up to Juniper. The parade features equestrians, floats, marching bands, and walking groups. The 2008 theme is The Grape Days of Classic Television.

We will have Leo Giovinetti as our guest speaker. We will also have the "Pearl Harbor Survivor Color Guard" presenting colors.Active Duty Military IN UNIFORM get in for free. The cost is $18.00 per person.
